Basic Instructions of Container gardening!

By picking the right plant, you can grow virtually any vegetable in a pot.
Growing flowers in pots is passe, as container gardening takes over, allowing garden lovers to grow vegetables in containers. This not only saves you a lot of space but also allows you to plant a larger variety and makes it easy to maintain each plant.

Drainage holes - To ensure the soil is moist but not wet enough to drown your sapling, make little holes in your container so that the excess water drains out and you have soft, damp soil for your veggies to thrive in.

Sun them up - Most growing veggies need a lot of sun, for almost 6 hours and that too in the right amount. The best thing about containers is that you can move them around to ensure they get the right sunlight. Considering we live in a hot climate, it would be best to place your containers on your patio.

Bigger, the better - For beginners it's always good to use containers that are larger than required. The plants have enough room to grow. You can try using square containers, buckets, pots anything as long as they are enough for plants to grow in.

Best material to use - Terracotta containers prove to be the best when growing plants and saplings. They help control temperature too.

Tips - You plants are not going to be fussy about the kind of soil you use, however, it is advised that the first time you plant, you fill the pot with water and allow it to drain the excess. That way your plants get used to the system.
